Spheroidization of powder particles is one of the successful commercial applications of induction plasma technology. The main advantages of induction plasma powder processing for improving metallic and ceramic powder quality will be discussed. More specifically results of spheroidization of cast tungsten carbide (WC/W2C) at industrial scale production are presented.
